The objective of the project for Pirogov Square in Tartu was to preserve the road structure of the 1950s, supported by a selection of small structures in a more contemporary design. This is one of the most representative green areas in the city, which is why the selection of materials was grander than usual.

The project included the reconstruction of pavements, squares, stairs, retaining walls, and a new stormwater drainage system. The park also received new lighting, benches, litter bins, handrails, and more besides.

We carried out the project together with the landscape architects of AB Artes Terrae OÜ.

Construction of the park was completed in autumn 2017
