Completed in late 2023 in Northern Tallinn, the design concept of the Angerja playground draws inspiration from the Karjamaa neighbourhood’s connection to the sea and, more specifically, from the name of Angerja Street itself. The colour palette and the design of the rubber surfacing are inspired by Pop Art, which was at its peak when most of the apartment buildings surrounding the playground were constructed.

The play elements follow the maritime theme, while the rubber surfacing features a large eel motif that can also be seen from the windows of the surrounding apartment buildings.
